  • Demand for internal business process automation for medium-size businesses is satisfied more than enough with Ultimate12 solution means
  • For demo purposes one is provided with cloud access. The demo-data cloud contains an e-store with fully functional catalog and online order system
  • the Web component, with minimum functionality, is built on Umbraco (.NET), an open-
    source CMS system. The component provides a basis for the development of a fully
    functional e-store. The basic kit implements an online catalogue with two display options
    (list or table), filtering by goods properties, a shopping basket, and ordering goods with realtime (synchronous) order creation in Ultimate12. Registration and authorization take place as the order is made.

Ultimate Solid as a platform is aggregated with Oracle 12c Enterprise edition
and initially designed for the most effective utilization of the most modern and best performing data processing tool by Oracle, a global leader of the industrial DBMS market.

Ultimate12 is an open system with unlimited capacity for the customization of business logic and applied functionality as a whole:

Complex screen forms are developed with MS Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition
(free) using DevExpress WinForms component library (its a trial version is available).
Simple forms are generated automatically by the platform.

Universal web-service mechanism makes possible to develop external mobile apps for any operating systems (WinPhone, Android, iOS) using any preferred development tools. Use case - Ultimate MobileView component for iOS.

Developers have two recommended options to access DBMS:

Preparing Ultimate12 release, we took functional set of Ultimate Concrete code. We removed some staff and simplified
(if possible), other things; and some issues were adapted to fit better the needs of small (hopefully, not for long) enterprises.

The Web component which is also the basis for the online store, instead of Ultimate eStore, whose functionality was considered redundant for the product’s target audience,
was developed on the basis of Umbraco, a free open-source project.

We’ve found question "Who is Ultimate12 for?" as not that easy to answer. Therefore, endeavoring in showing-off as a man of genius let's cut to the chase, that is, we’ll try to answer first: Who is it NOT for?

That is, start-up but not small business. Start-up is a word closely related to maturation while size means fate.

Ultimate12 even considering adapted to small enterprise realities is a solution with a genetic code for large (and even huge) industrial IEM system.

It is NOT an off-the-shelf solution and one cannot “just” download it, “just” install it and “just” use it.

One would have to learn the ropes, delve a good deal and meddle with it.

What one is to pay for:

  • Software licenses from external vendors.
  • Licensing issues are to be discussed with us directly. However, Ultimate Cloud users have no issues with OS licensing for system servers and Oracle DBMS license.
  • Ultimate12 users maintaining their server fleet on their own can purchase Oracle licenses from us either. Oracle provides exclusive pricing for its product licenses providing that they are used along with Ultimate solutions. For details – see the section with the same name.
  • More system users starting from the 13th one are to be paid under the terms of Ultimate Solid license lease
  • Support packages when we are bound to respond with fixed time period.

Ultimate12 solution is provided for free. You can create your own solutions and sell them the way you prefer not paying anything to us. Though platform licensing limitations are still there. Should you wish selling your solutions via our channels we’d ask you of the following
a) certify them, b) share your profits in accordance with general terms and conditions of the Ultimate partnership program.

Roughly speaking, in this case our fee amounts to 25% of sale price of any externally developed configuration. Also you may opt to become Ultimate certified partner to do real business.

Support Packages

First of all, regular 12 user support is NOT provided.

Product support is aimed on system administrators/applications
developers only.

For communication they should use (topics) at the support forum.
The forum is moderated in accordance with regular principles, i.e. non-informative, obscene, off-topic sections/posts are ignored/removed.

You can read it with no limitations. But to create new topics/responses one should sign up (it's free). Communication is in 2 languages: Russian and English. All other things being equal, inquiries in English are in priority.
